Land Manager
Our business begins with the purchase of high quality land, bought at the appropriate time from a variety of sources. Careful consideration is given as our land team research and develop ideas for a master plan. At Taylor Wimpey we focus on buying land where there is a need for homes, where people want to live and where we believe we have a realistic chance of securing planning permission. Land is the critical ‘raw material’ for a housebuilder, so we focus on purchasing the right sites in the right locations.
As a Land Manager, you will play a key role in this journey. You will identify suitable opportunities to meet business strategy and land strategy, both short-term and strategic whilst managing current assets and establishing relevant technical constraints and solutions to enable a new opportunity to be successfully developed. You will be responsible for undertaking land purchase exercises and negotiating contracts ready for agreement and completion by the Land & Planning Director.
Leading on the submission and negotiation of planning applications including S106 agreements and viability models and managing a team of external consultants. You'll need to liaise successfully with other teams within the BU, particularly technical, to manage schemes from initial identification to acquisition and beyond
Accounts Supervisor
Each of Taylor Wimpey’s regional businesses has a finance team that drives the commercial performance of their respective business and are responsible for providing valuable reports to our Group Finance team based in Head Office. Led by their Finance Director, each of these teams are vital to the financial structure of the organisation. Through quarterly forecasts and monthly accounts, they provide key data to the board and enable some of the most important strategic decisions for the business.
The Accounts Supervisor role requires an accurate and efficient eye and someone who will keep financial transactions up to date, a crucial position in the regional finance team. Managing a team of Accounts Assistants, they will assist the Head of Finance with the day to day delivery of the Finance Department function and provide other internal departments and Head Office finance with timely and accurate information throughout the monthly finance reporting cycle.
Marketing Executive
The Taylor Wimpey Sales and Marketing Team are looking for a self-confident, resilient and energetic Marketing Executive who will support the delivery of the marketing strategy for the regional office. The strategy should deliver a strong prospect database for current and future developments, and one which strengthens the Taylor Wimpey brand in local communities and on a national scale.
This role will help deliver effective and innovative digital marketing, web and social media projects to build an engaging brand and customer experience, as well as supporting the sales and marketing activities.

The Customer Support Co-ordinator (CSC) is responsible for the day to day management of the administration relating to all customer issues. This role takes ownership of all ongoing customers’ issues. The role allocates resources including Customer Service Operatives and contractors to undertake work in customers’ homes.
CSC’s are responsible for the collation and management of information and data upwards for analysis and the escalation of customer issues, where appropriate.
Assistant Buyer
The role of the Assistant Buyer is to negotiate and procure all materials, superstructure sub-contractors and plant to ensure that the business unit output programme is carried out professionally and within budget, ensuring adequate resources are on site to build the product in accordance with the planned programme.
This role will need to monitor and evaluate supplier performance and take any appropriate action. Benchmarking tenders to ensure that market value is being achieved whilst maintaining budgets on a monthly basis, alongside the QS.

ER Advisor (12 month maternity cover – Head Office/Central & South West Division)
The role of the ER Advisor is to provide advice, guidance and direct support to Line Management in respect of any employment related matters, and update and maintain case trackers and associated documentation in line with GDPR provisions. Work with the ER Advisor team to monitor the effectiveness of employment-related policies, procedures and template documents, amending to reflect any legislative changes or continuous improvement. Drive Line Management capability by delivering relevant workshops/training interventions and supporting relevant projects as assigned.
This role works closely with the relevant HRBPs for Head Office and the Central and South West Division, with a level of onsite presence expected (i.e. 2-3 days a week) across Head Office at High Wycombe and The Hub in Solihull for meetings, and in the relevant Business Units where required (Exeter, Bristol, Winchester, Bury St Edmonds and South Midlands) – base location is flexible across these with a level of mobility required. This role commences from the beginning of June 2024 for a fixed term period of 12 months.
