We are looking for a talented interior architect, with both creative and analytical skills, to help us make a big difference to the homes we build for our customers.
As a customer centric business, responding to what our customer wants is critical. In this exciting new position, you will have a key role in our product development cycle, as well as helping develop our customer service and sales strategies. The role is in our central design and technical team where you will work closely with the design director and product development team. You will also work with other head office functions; sales, customer service, procurement, production and health and safety, as well as external consultants and the 24 regional business units.
What you will do:
The role has three key areas of responsibility:
- You will help gathering and analysing customer insight to ensure continuous improvement of the design and specification of our homes and our customer offering in general. This may be through formal research, regular feedback from customers and visiting sites to speak with sales staff.
A curated customer offering:
- Using the analysis from the customer insight you will assist our internal and external designers develop and maintain a carefully curated customer offering. This includes the spatial design of our homes, components such as the bathrooms and kitchens, and the specification and design of other internal fixtures and fittings. Further work will include helping maintain a set of customer options that are of value to the customer and effective for the business.
Presentation of our homes:
- To work with central sales and marketing and our external interior designers to develop a TW show home design guidance to present our show homes to the best advantage
What you will have:
An interior architecture, design or other relevant design qualification, to degree level
Experience of residential interior design, either volume or bespoke, and will be able to demonstrate both a creative use of space and specification of fittings and materials.
Commercial awareness and analytical skills
The ability to forge and maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
