Trainee Sales Executive
At Taylor Wimpey we're all about providing quality to our customers, and amazing sales and service is at our core. The successful candidate will assist the Sales Executive in managing all sales proceeding including weekly contact with customers to ensure contract exchange deadlines are achieved and that customers are kept fully informed throughout the home buying process. Also, you will help to maintain accurate records of all visitors, sales, plot files and sales of optional extras and to communicate this information to third parties as required.
Under the guidance of the Sales Executive the Trainee Sales Executive will help the team to secure the sale of new homes and achieve contract exchanges and legal completions in line with company targets. You will demonstrate enthusiasm to learn and undertake all Customer Care requirements of the company in accordance with the best practice guidelines.
Assistant Site Manager
Our site management teams are the essence of our business and are integral in making sure construction is completed within agreed timelines, cost parameters, safely and most importantly to our customers' satisfaction. You will need to efficiently manage the field operations including controlling sub-contractors day-to-day operations and ensuring that material supplies are available in conjunction with the Site Manager.
The Assistant Site Manager will assist the Site Manager in the planning and programming of site activities ensuring the work is completed in a safe manner, and deputise for the Site Manager where necessary and managing quality standards to meet customer expectations.
Graduate Fire Engineer
The Graduate Fire Engineer will work as part of our cladding remediation team to consider and review Type 1 and Type 2 Fire Risk Assessments, FRAEWs, and EWS1 assessments, as well as assisting with the development of remedial works fire engineering strategies and effective solutions for our cladding and building safety remediation projects.
The role will also assist the Senior Fire Engineer in providing fire engineering guidance and support for the Group Technical function in consideration of our new home portfolio, details and specifications.
The role will support the cladding remediation team when assessing remediation proposals and risk management to ensure successful outcomes, including meeting government commitments, maximising stakeholder expectations, and ensuring a maximising return on capital investment. Ensuring all fire engineering associated development activity complies with regulatory and other statutory obligations.
The location of the role is flexible however the Fire Engineer will be expected to travel throughout the UK when necessary.
This role would suit a recent graduate looking for an opportunity or a candidate who has some level of experience in this field.
Senior Commercial Manager
Our regional commercial teams are integral to the successful delivery of every Taylor Wimpey site. The function serves as the linchpin between our Technical and Production functions and makes the reality of a Taylor Wimpey development come to life.
As the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for setting targets and goals across the commercial department and ensuring that plans are in place to deliver those goals, this will include management, motivation and training of staff across the commercial function.
You will maintain the business culture and control framework within the boundaries set out in the Operating Framework & Taylor Wimpey CDM processes, and negotiate and procure all materials, labour and plant to ensure that the business’ unit output programme is carried out professionally and within budget.

Sales Executive - 12 month FTC

The successful candidate will deliver an exceptional customer experience to customers in the purchase of a new Taylor Wimpey home. Working closely with the Sales Manager and collaboratively with the Sales Team and other stakeholders, you will also be driven to deliver and smash sales targets.
Engineer
The engineering arm of our regional Technical teams is responsible for establishing all the infrastructure that connects a new development and putting in place all important things that enable a community to thrive. From roads to sewers and all the utilities you expect from a modern, functional dwelling, our engineers are a vital part of ensuring each home meets and exceeds our customers’ expectations. The role of the Engineer is to provide technical support at all stages of the development process, from initial viability advice to full design packages, gaining technical consents and providing advice to all other departments and selected contractors during construction. You will need a thorough knowledge of engineering as a discipline and be very familiar with the associated regulatory requirements for a residential build. You will need to be a shrewd negotiator as you navigate various technical approval processes.
