Trainee Sales Executive
At Taylor Wimpey we're all about providing quality to our customers, and amazing sales and service is at our core. The successful candidate will assist the Sales Executive in managing all sales proceeding including weekly contact with customers to ensure contract exchange deadlines are achieved and that customers are kept fully informed throughout the home buying process. Also, you will help to maintain accurate records of all visitors, sales, plot files and sales of optional extras and to communicate this information to third parties as required.
Under the guidance of the Sales Executive the Trainee Sales Executive will help the team to secure the sale of new homes and achieve contract exchanges and legal completions in line with company targets. Accounts Clerk
Each of Taylor Wimpey’s regional businesses has a finance team that drives the commercial performance of their respective business and are responsible for providing valuable reports to our Group Finance team based in Head Office. Led by their Finance Director, each of these teams are vital to the financial structure of the organisation. Through quarterly forecasts and monthly accounts, they provide key data to the board and enable some of the most important strategic decisions for the business.
The role of the Accounts Clerk is to maintain and keep up to date the purchase ledger in order to pay the suppliers within the agreed payment terms. They ensure effective, efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions in line with the Finance Manual and Operating Framework.
Customer Support Coordinator
The Customer Support Co-ordinator (CSC) is responsible for the day to day management of the administration relating to all customer issues. This role takes ownership of all ongoing customers’ issues. The role allocates resources including Customer Service Operatives and contractors to undertake work in customers’ homes.
CSC’s are responsible for the collation and management of information and data upwards for analysis and the escalation of customer issues, where appropriate.
Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor
Our regional commercial teams are integral to the successful delivery of every Taylor Wimpey project.
This role is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic team with full responsibility for procurement, commercial and contractual aspects of housing developments both multi phased schemes consisting of both traditional build housing and high rise reinforced concrete frame construction. The role entails interfacing with all staff involved in the project including, but not limited to, BUMT, site teams, subcontractors, external suppliers and JV / Development partners.
Technical Manager
As the Technical Manager, it is your responsibility to ensure the management and co-ordination of the external consultant team through all stages of project procurement (Land & Planning, Commercial, Production, Sales and Adoptions) and actively support the Project team in all matters arising.
Ensuring that all disciplines are fully joined up and in synchronisation. Checking layout drawings, suppliers and manufacturers' details. Assisting in obtaining necessary Building Regulation Technical Approvals and advising all internal Teams of updates and progress. Efficiently resolve and co-ordinate any issues arising from the external consultants.

Land Manager
Our business begins with the purchase of high quality land, bought at the appropriate time from a variety of sources. Careful consideration is given as our land team research and develop ideas for a master plan. At Taylor Wimpey we focus on buying land where there is a need for homes, where people want to live and where we believe we have a realistic chance of securing planning permission. Land is the critical ‘raw material’ for a housebuilder, so we focus on purchasing the right sites in the right locations.
As a Land Manager, you will play a key role in this journey. You will identify suitable opportunities to meet business strategy and land strategy, both short-term and strategic whilst managing current assets and establishing relevant technical constraints and solutions to enable a new opportunity to be successfully developed. You will be responsible for undertaking land purchase exercises and negotiating contracts ready for agreement and completion by the Land & Planning Director.
Leading on the submission and negotiation of planning applications including S106 agreements and viability models and managing a team of external consultants. You'll need to liaise successfully with other teams within the BU, particularly technical, to manage schemes from initial identification to acquisition and beyond
