Design & Planning Co-ordinator
At Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, we are looking for an experienced individual who will participate in the management and co-ordination of the external consultant team through all stages of project procurement (Land, Planning, Commercial, Production, Sales and Adoptions).
You will actively support the project teams in all matters of the site delivery ensuring that all disciplines are fully joined up, synchronizing all designs from bid to planning approval through tender and onto site.
The role requires an individual with a high knowledge of planning and the ability to manage and co-ordinate external and internal customers in a timely fashion to meet the targets set by the Management team.
Quantity Surveyor
Our regional commercial teams are integral to the successful delivery of every Taylor Wimpey project.
This role is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic team assisting in the commercial function and reporting for projects within the region including site budgets, payments, benchmarking, WIP, cash flows and valuations.
You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on build costs periodically reporting any savings and excesses, and assisting in the monitoring and evaluation of contractor performance.
The role entails the management of external consultants involved in the commercial function and collaboratively working with other TW internal departments.

This role is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic team assisting with procurement, commercial and contractual aspects of the BU. The role entails interfacing with all staff involved in the project including, but not limited to, BUMT, site teams, subcontractors, external suppliers and JV / Development partners.
ER Advisor (12 month maternity cover – Head Office/Central & South West Division)
The role of the ER Advisor is to provide advice, guidance and direct support to Line Management in respect of any employment related matters, and update and maintain case trackers and associated documentation in line with GDPR provisions. Work with the ER Advisor team to monitor the effectiveness of employment-related policies, procedures and template documents, amending to reflect any legislative changes or continuous improvement. Drive Line Management capability by delivering relevant workshops/training interventions and supporting relevant projects as assigned.
This role works closely with the relevant HRBPs for Head Office and the Central and South West Division, with a level of onsite presence expected (i.e. 2-3 days a week) across Head Office at High Wycombe and The Hub in Solihull for meetings, and in the relevant Business Units where required (Exeter, Bristol, Winchester, Bury St Edmonds and South Midlands) – base location is flexible across these with a level of mobility required. This role commences from the beginning of June 2024 for a fixed term period of 12 months.
Customer Support Operative
The Customer Support Operative (CSO) is responsible for the day to day remediation of issues in customers’ homes. This role takes ownership of ongoing customer issues as required. The role coordinated with the CSC to ensure the correct resources are available to undertake work in customers’ homes, on the appointed date in order to resolve the identified issue(s).

The engineering arm of our regional Technical teams is responsible for establishing all the infrastructure that connects a new development and putting in place all important things that enable a community to thrive. From roads to sewers and all the utilities you expect from a modern, functional dwelling, our engineers are a vital part of ensuring each home meets and exceeds our customers’ expectations.
The role of the Engineer is to provide technical support at all stages of the development process, from initial viability advice to full design packages, gaining technical consents and providing advice to all other departments and selected contractors during construction. You will need a thorough knowledge of engineering as a discipline and be very familiar with the associated regulatory requirements for a residential build. You will need to be a shrewd negotiator as you navigate various technical approval processes.
