PMIP Assistant Project Manager:
The Assistant PMIP Project Manager role is a cross functional position aimed to provide support and additional project management capacity to the Project Manager, enabling the PMIP process and toolkit to be fully and effectively applied across the full portfolio of projects. This role will aid the Project Manager in ensuring that projects are handed over within agreed forecast timeframes, to a defined quality as demanded by our customers. This role reports into the Project Manager and with experience, coaching and development support, this role will be an excellent foundation for career development.
What you will do:
- Deputise for the Project Manager when not available e.g. lead project team review meetings; provide project related information required for management team reporting; coordinate completion of actions to drive projects forward
- Identify and escalate to the Project Manager any potential problems, ideas, risks or issues
- Propose improvements to the way projects are delivered in the business e.g. process, meetings
- Promote capture and use of lessons learned across the business unit
- Engage with project team members to follow-up project related actions.
What you will have:
- Knowledge of and interest in Project Management and the application of Best Practise.
- Awareness of a typical end-to-end housebuilding process
- Good communication skills with the emerging ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and show persistence in obtaining solutions to problems
- Be able to follow timeline schedules.
