To manage the flow of documents, including working drawings, drawing registers and drawing packs,  for the project and provide support to the Technical team, specifically to the Technical Co-ordinatorsand Managers in performing their role. To support the Project Director on site in an administrative capacity as required.

The role will initially support Coronation Square, Leyton, and will in due course be a shared role with East Riverside, Poplar.  This is predominantley a site-based role. 

Waht you will do:

  • Supporting the project team with the day to day project administration and document control following company procedures, processes and governance.
  • The management and administration of the web-based DocHosting/Asite system as well as physical copies of plans and drawings where appropriate.
  • Ensuring information is available to the relevant paties in line with PMIP Milestones
  • Maintaining HSE procedure for the handling/uploading of Lifting Plans, Temporary Works, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Preparing Visio drawings and other documents for review and distribution.
  • Collation of working drawing packages, drawing registers etc.
  • Control issuing of technical drawing registers and drawings, via DocHosting or any other systems that may be employed
  • Provide training and assistance on the DocHosting system when required by others (training will be provided if required)
  • Monitor and manage the RFI schedule, chasing consultants and subcontractors as appropriate
  • Assisting the Technical Coordinator with monitoring of Technical Fees Schedules.
  • Aiding in preparation of Pre-Commencement H&S plans including co-ordination with CDM Consultants
  • Organising information for input into H&S files for Housing Associations and Management Co’s.

What you will have:

  • Housebuilding/Techincal Experience
  • Proficient user of Microsoft programmes including word, excel and outlook
  • excellent orgnisational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Working as part of a project team
  • Preffered Dcoument Management knowledge through online/digital resource (Dochosting,
  • Working knowledge of H&S and CDM Obligations Buzzsaw)
