With planning in place, sub-contractors and materials on site ready to go, it’s now up to our Production team to manage the delivery of our housing developments. Production oversee all activity, from managing our direct trades and subcontractor representatives on site to organizing the build Programme and ensuring the development is on schedule to welcome its new residents

Production is the backbone of our build process. We build over 10,000 homes a year. Consistency in quality of build, safety standards and communication with our customers are all key components to a successful production team. We are now looking for an Apprentice roofer to join our team.

As an apprentice roofer you will be involved with a variety of skills relating to the Construction Industry.  You will learn how to lay various types of roofing materials on new build houses.  You will learn how to read and follow drawings. You will work with a team and must enjoy working outdoors and be unafraid of heights.   It is important that you have good physical stamina to work on your feet all day.  Good balancing skills required as will be working at height on sloping roofs. You will ensure that your work complies with the standards and procedures and that you abide by the safety rules.


What you will do:

  • Installing a range of roofing materials and products at height.
  • Interpreting drawings.
  • Measuring and calculating the right amounts of materials.
  • Lifting and moving of materials
  • Set up, check and operate equipment
  • Working with others in a team


What you will have:

  • GCSE Maths and English is preferred.
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Can collaborate and communicate well.
  • Be planned and organised.
