Our site management teams are the engine room of our business and are integral in making sure construction is completed safely. You will ultimately become responsible for supporting the Site Manager in driving Taylor Wimpey sites forward and completing the construction of new build homes within agreed timelines, cost parameters and most importantly to our customers' satisfaction.
A structured development path has been created to transition you through an intensive programme, whereby you will be equipped with all the technical skills, knowledge, experience and additionally an industry recognised qualification to begin your career in site management. The Production leadership teams will support, mentor and monitor you on regular basis, providing you with clear objectives and milestones to achieve and become the best you can be. Whilst we provide a structured development path, self-development is key and how quickly you progress through the programme will be down to you.
What you will have:
- Housebuilding/Construction experience is not essential, but we are looking for someone with a desire to build quality new homes for our customers
- You will have strong leadership and management skills
- Continuously improving by generating and communicating ideas to improve performances on site
- Showing confidence in making appropriate decisions, using facts and analysis to make those decisions
- Safety focused and continually assessing the risk of situations
- Customer focused, being able to respond to customer needs accordingly and appropriately
- Collaborative approach, supporting others in teams, building connections across the site/business and share skills and knowledge with others
