Assistant Project Manager:

Our projects team lead and manage the delivery of key residential developments across our business. The Assistant Project Manager will manage and coordinate all aspects of the architectural, engineering and design and planning activities for the business.

What you will do:

  • Assist in the overall management of projects from site acquisition to delivery
  • Assist in the management of external planning, architectural and engineering consultants to ensure that all design information is received, coordinated and distributed on time and within budget
  • Prepare and maintain programmes and documents for the monitoring of progress and for use in reporting to the Projects Director
  • Arrange, coordinate and manage project meetings with other departments in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all relevant action points are noted and recorded
  • Manage the pre-distribution of information and taking of minutes from all meetings together with updated programmes and status reports
  • Liaise and negotiate where necessary with statutory authorities, local planning authorities and consultants to ensure projects achieve the set objectives and programmes.

What you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within residential housebuilding
  • A strong knowledge and appreciation of UK building regulations and health and safety requirements within the industry
  • Experience managing both internal and external clients in a commercial environment and an ability to build lasting and meaningful relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge and experience of relevant IT systems and experience with MS Office
