Operations Supervisor

Taylor Wimpey Logistics is our supply chain logistics business and is a vital component of our supply chain. We have a range of sites in various stages of development around the country.

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading their team to achieve company goals, KPIs and quality standards to maximise customer satisfaction while managing projects and regular reporting of team performance.

What you will do:

  • Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and high standards of work practices
  • Motivate employees through daily team briefs and monthly 'one on one’ performance reviews, providing timely feedback on priorities, targets and operational requirements
  • Provide a coaching environment, which encourages training and development of all employees
  • Manage and report on attendance, performance and work environment through effective use of company policies, procedures and team leadership
  • Continuously monitor the performance and progress to ensure KPI targets are met
  • Develop and improve current practices, engaging team, communicating and implementing change as required
  • Responsible for the integrity and timely input of data to continually improve stock accuracy


What you will have:

  • Previous industry experience
  • Experience managing a successful team
  • End to end understanding of ERP and WM systems and processes (ideally Sage X3)
  • Knowledge of health and safety within an operational environment preferably IOSH trained
