Summary
High Wycombe

Vacancy Filled

This vacancy has now expired, and is not accepting any new applications.

Taylor Wimpey is now recruiting for our 2020 finance graduate programme beginning in September 2020. Our finance graduate programme was introduced to create a pipeline of future finance leaders.

Sophie joined the Taylor Wimpey finance graduate programme in September 2014. After successfully completing the programme in 2017, Sophie was offered the role of Finance Manager, West London and was promoted to Finance Director, West London in February 2019. Read on to hear more about Sophie’s experience on the programme;

‘I feel very fortunate to have joined the Taylor Wimpey Graduate programme just over 5 years ago. The culture of the company is one of doing the right thing and putting the customer at the heart of what we do, which resonates with my own principles. During the programme, I worked in 3 regional businesses and completed departmental rotations in each. These rotations gave me a full appreciation of how the housebuilding industry operates and the part that each person has to play in delivering the business plan and providing homes for our customers.

From my very first day, people at all levels within the company were approachable and I was able to build a strong network of colleagues who I have learnt so much from. Since then, I have been fully supported by Taylor Wimpey, and have been presented with opportunities that I didn’t ever imagine. I was delighted last year when I was appointed as Finance Director of the West London business unit. The company continues to support me as I develop in my role.’
