Job Summary
The Reward Manager is a key member of the Taylor Wimpey Reward team, contributing to the effective delivery of competitive, compliant reward frameworks across the organisation. The role focuses on the operational delivery of reward activities, including annual bonus and salary review cycles, with a strong emphasis on high‑quality execution, accuracy of outcomes and clear, reliable reward delivery for employees.
This role supports and advises internal stakeholders, partnering with HR, Finance, Company Secretariat and the wider business to ensure reward activity is delivered consistently, compliantly and on time.
Reporting to the Head of Reward & Pensions, and working closely with the Senior Reward Manager, this role sits in the wider Reward function and is mainly based in the Warwick office, with occasional travel to other locations as required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management and operational delivery of the annual bonus cycle, including system calculations, communications to employees and query resolution
- Manage the annual bonus target cascades, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Support the various annual salary reviews, including system calculations, process management, salary benchmarking and ensuring accuracy of data
- Support the design, maintenance and delivery of pay progression frameworks
- Manage the operational delivery of incentive programmes, including employee data management and working with internal stakeholders to validate performance against targets. Review processes and embed operational improvements.
- Produce reward analysis, insights, options, recommendations and reports to support decision‑making across reward activities.
- Provide input into reward‑related projects such as pay framework reviews and system implementations, as well as leading policy reviews and building robust business case for change
- Prepare annual gender pay gap reporting, including data analysis and insight
- Co-ordinate and take responsibility for the Company's response to external reporting, including reward surveys and the Workforce Disclosure Initiative and other transparency frameworks
- Support the Group Finance / Company Secretariat functions with information for annual reporting, including director remuneration and other relevant data
- Provide reward advice and guidance to the wider HR team and other internal stakeholders
- Support with the management of company car scheme
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in a reward role, preferably within a large, complex organisation
- Good working knowledge of UK reward practices including pay, incentives and benefits
- Proven experience supporting and delivering annual bonus and salary review cycles
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into commercial insights.
- A high-level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of job evaluation and benchmarking
- Experience in a listed or FTSE level organisation
- Previous experience of managing company car schemes
