Job Summary

​​Responsible for providing upon a given number of sites, composite and complete technical information and support in relation to superstructures, to enable regional objectives and targets to be achieved. Deliver various elements associated with land acquisition and planning approvals. 

Primary Responsibilities

Schemes 

  • ​Provide architectural support and technical guidance for regional site based operations 
  • ​Working closely alongside the project Engineer to support the delivery of a full technical package 
  • ​Provide full administrative support to regional site based operations for working drawings, ancillary details and other technical information. 
  • ​To co-ordinate and manage the issue of technical documentation relating to superstructures, including the maintenance of an efficient file management system 
  • ​Co-ordination and control of expenditure in line with fee budgets. 
  • ​Management and production of conveyance plans and provision of site set-up information. 
  • ​Provide assistance and support in a timely manner to allow discharging of planning and building control conditions 
  • ​Liaise with other departments and external consultants in the production of layouts 
  • ​Liaise with Sales & Marketing regarding site brochure production 
  • ​Using AutoCAD and other software(s) to deliver any in-house design requirements 

​Management 

  • ​Must be able to manage external consultants and stakeholder 
  • ​Coordination, checking and distribution of all relevant technical information  
  • ​The commissioning, co-ordination and checking of specialist supplier designs, including any required integration into the working drawing packages 
  • ​To liaise with NHBC, resolving technical & design issues. 
  • ​To register, resolve and monitor where appropriate site queries from production management to enable progressive product development 

​Communication 

  • ​Must be able to communicate well at all levels internally within the group and externally 
  • ​Attending all necessary project meetings 
  • ​Distribution of information to wider business and beyond 
  • ​Liaising with consultants and other key stakeholders 
  • ​Aid in communicating any key changes in legislations to wider business and other stakeholders 
  • ​Providing regular updates to line manager 

Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements

  • ​​Architectural (or Technical related) Degree / HNC / HND​ 
  • ​​​AutoCAD​​ 
  • ​​Significant experience in housebuilding (Technical)​ 
  • Driving Licence
